How it works
Place your order online now or call us and we’ll get back to you within 24 hours to arrange installation. You can choose to have your bag collected every 4 or 8 weeks and you will need to nominate your preferred cycle upon ordering. You can change this option throughout the year if required however 8 weeks is the maximum time allowed between pick-ups.
We will install your bag using our quality frames and bags in a convenient accessible location on your property.
Your garden bag is there to use at your convenience for all your green waste needs.
Your bag will be collected on the same day of your 4 or 8 weekly cycle (e.g every 4th Tuesday or every 8th Tuesday) and an invoice will be left to notify you of your next collection day and date ensuring you always know when we are coming!

Once your bag is collected an invoice is left notifying you of your next collection day and date. The day your collection is due is the day we pick it up! We pride ourselves in offering outstanding customer service to all our customers.

When can you install the bag?
We can usually install your bag within 48 hours of placing an order.
What's the price?
The price is $25 per bag, per collection. A $5 surcharge may be added if the bag contains prohibited waste or is over 80kgs.
How big is the bag?
The bag can hold approximately 0.8 of a cubic metre or 2 to 3 wheelie bins worth of green waste.
How heavy can I make the bag?
80kgs is the maximum weight.
How do I pay?
Payments can be made by the following methods:
- Cash on delivery or on the day of your collection
- Money order
- Cheque
- Direct online bank transfer
Are there any installation fees?
There are no installation fees for this service.
Can I have more than 1 bag?
Yes you can have as many bags as you like. The price is $25 per bag. For example 2 x bags = $50
What if I haven’t used the bag before my collection is due?
If you are on a 4 weekly collection cycle and you don’t require a pick up, you do have the option to notify us before your collection day if your collection is not required. Your bag will be collected 4 weeks later. However if we are not notified before the day of your collection, your bag will be taken and charged as normal. 8 weeks is the maximum time allowed between pick-ups.
Can I get my bag picked up early?
Yes we can do early collections for you if your bag will be ready again on your normal collection day.
Terms and Conditions
Backyard Garden Bales has a minimum of (3) garden bag collections. If you are on a 4 weekly cycle and do not require a collection, we must be notified at least 24 hours prior to the collection day or standard charges will apply. At 8 weeks, the garden bag is taken and charged regardless of the amount in the bag. If we cannot access the bag normal charges will apply. Some reasons for not being able to access the bag include; bag being behind a locked gate, cars in the way, savage dog etc. The bag must not be overfilled or extra charges will apply. The bag must not exceed 80kgs or extra charges will apply.
Accounts must be paid in credit or directly after each collection. All accounts must be paid in full before cancellation of service. Any unpaid accounts may be sent to Prushka Debt Collection Agency and will incur a $40 debt recovery fee.
