You can choose to have your bag collected every 4 or 8 weeks and you will need to nominate your preferred cycle upon ordering. You can change this option throughout the year if required however 8 weeks is the maximum time allowed between pick-ups.

Backyard Garden Bales was established in 2001 by its current owner/operator Scott Milini and is the most reliable garden bag service in Brisbane. Scott’s brother Glenn works for Backyard Garden Bales and has done since inception. Once your bag is collected an invoice is left notifying you of your next collection day and date. The day your collection is due is the day we pick it up! We pride ourselves in offering outstanding customer service to all our customers.
Your garden bag can be placed on your property in an accessible location and is there for you to use at your convenience. Your bag will be collected from the same location meaning you will no longer need to “put out the bin” or do trips to the dump.
The price per collection is only $25 per bag (4 or 8 weekly cycle). Each bag holds up to approximately 3 wheelie bins worth of green waste (approx. 0.8 cubic metres). No more wasting your weekends on trips to the tip or expensive tip fees!

Yes you can have as many bags as you like. The price is $25 per bag. For example 2 x bags = $50
If you are on a 4 weekly collection cycle and you don’t require a pick up, you do have the option to notify us before your collection day if your collection is not required. Your bag will be collected 4 weeks later. However if we are not notified before the day of your collection, your bag will be taken and charged as normal. 8 weeks is the maximum time allowed between pick-ups.
Yes we can do early collections for you if your bag will be ready again on your normal collection day.
Backyard Garden Bales has a minimum of (4) garden bag collections. If you are on a 4 weekly cycle and do not require a collection, we must be notified at least 24 hours prior to the collection day or standard charges will apply. At 8 weeks, the garden bag is taken and charged regardless of the amount in the bag. If we cannot access the bag normal charges will apply. Some reasons for not being able to access the bag include; bag being behind a locked gate, cars in the way, savage dog etc. The bag must not be overfilled or extra charges will apply. The bag must not exceed 80kgs or extra charges will apply.
Accounts must be paid in credit or directly after each collection. All accounts must be paid in full before cancellation of service. Any unpaid accounts may be sent to Prushka Debt Collection Agency and will incur a $40 debt recovery fee.
